Charlemont Inn Winter Weekend Party with Planet Zydeco, The Hilltones and Girl Howdy Hosted by Andy Turrett and Michael Pattivina Charlemont Inn, Charlemont, MA (Rt 2 approx. 22 miles West of Greenfield, MA) Food and Drink will be available at the Inn Saturday: 8pm to 1am with Planet Zydeco and The Hilltones (Rock & Roll)
Sunday: Starting at 10 am there will be an old-time gospel sing and will include an old time fiddle and bluegrass jam. Other jamming is welcome. Join in or come and listen! Girl Howdy (honkytonk) will play from 2 to 4pm On Sunday, breakfast is available at the Inn’s restaurant from 8 to 11am. Suggested donation of $15. For more info contact: mpatt@the-spa.com or aturrett@aol.com Also on Sunday from 4 to 7pm the Charlemont Inn is Host to a Chili Cook-Off Benefit for the local July 4th fireworks and Girl Howdy will be playing a second show for this event. You are welcome to stay but this is a separate event and the cost is $7. Chili included! There are a limited number of rooms available at the Inn so reserve early. Well, folks, our beloved drummer, Paul McTaggart, is moving on to different musical territory and we can't imagine our band without his funky beat, so please come join Planet Zydeco for our last local Mardi Gras!
