Knights of Columbus Hall,15 Winslow St, Arlington, MA. The
hall is approx. one mile off Route 2 right in Arlington
center, close to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. If
lost or confused - call 617-460-4213.
Take Route 2 to Arlington Center/Belmont Center exit (Rte
60). This is
exit 59 off of Route 2.
NOTE: if coming from Rte 128/I-95, Do NOT
take the first Pleasant St exit which is in Lexington. Take
Rte 60 East (Pleasant Street) for exactly one mile to Arlington
Center. Cross Mass Ave. and travel one more block on Rte
60 (Mystic St). Turn right into the very large parking lot
(free at nighttime). The Knights of Columbus Hall is the
small wood frame building across the street to the right
of a tall redbrick building.

Zydeco joins Paul Asbell, Mark LeGrand and the Lovesick
Band,
Chris Kleeman, Jeremiah McLane and other special guests
including
George Thomas from Vermont Public Radio as emcee for a benefit
concert
and dance featuring music from Louisiana, Mississippi and
Alabama to
help fellow musicians displaced by Hurricane Katrina with
financial,
medical and housing needs.
The
benefit was arranged by Mark Sustic in collaboration with
musician
friends in Louisiana and New England, and is an attempt
to both raise
funds for the critical needs of musicians in the Gulf, and
an
opportunity for musicians in Vermont to acknowledge an artistic
debt to
the blues, Cajun, Zydeco, country and other traditions originating
in
the Gulf region.
All
proceeds to support the Lafayette Music Alliance, designed
to
specifically help displaced musicians with financial, medical
and
housing needs.
